Ownership: Isabelle’s Dance Time (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Isabelle’s Dance Time mobile application (the “Service”).

The Isabelle’s Dance Time mobile application (the “Service”) was originally developed by Bucholtz Software, LLC and may, at its discretion, continue to provide maintenance and support for the Service. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Bucholtz Software, LLC is not responsible for the operation, content, legal compliance, or future use of the Service and disclaims liability to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law for any claims, damages, or legal issues arising from or related to the Service.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you regarding your information. By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Push notification tokens

2. Account Approval

Access to the Service is restricted to authorized users.

Every account must be reviewed and approved by an authorized Isabelle’s Dance Time administrator before access is granted. We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate any account at our sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law.

4. Message Monitoring

Communications transmitted through the Service should not be considered private from authorized Isabelle’s Dance Time administrators.

Railway (cloud hosting)
Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notification delivery)
Expo (mobile application services)
Bucholtz Software, LLC (software development, maintenance, and technical support)

If you delete your account:

Deleted information generally cannot be recovered.
Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to one month before being automatically removed.

Deleting your account permanently removes your access to the Service. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

The Service is intended for authorized members of Isabelle’s Dance Time.

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. Users must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

Because the Service is used by minor students:

Every account requires administrator approval before access is granted.
Authorized administrators may monitor communications within the Service.
Parents or legal guardians may contact us regarding a minor’s personal information where permitted by applicable law.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The mobile application may use authentication tokens, device identifiers, local storage, and similar technologies necessary for user authentication, account security, maintaining active sessions, and providing application functionality.

These technologies are not used to sell or market your personal information.

11. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored within the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or operational needs.

Any revisions become effective upon publication within the Service or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

13. User Content, Copyright, and DMCA

13.1 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all images, videos, audio recordings, messages, and other content that you upload, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service.

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own the content or possess all rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations necessary to upload and share it.

Uploading content that infringes another person’s intellectual property rights or otherwise violates applicable law is strictly prohibited.

13.2 Prohibited Content

Users may not upload, transmit, or distribute content that:

Violates any applicable law or regulation
Infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
Contains unlawful pornographic or sexually explicit material
Depicts or promotes abuse, exploitation, or unlawful violence
Promotes or facilitates illegal activity
Contains malicious software or other harmful code

Violation of this section may result in the immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.

13.3 Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our Designated DMCA Agent.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user responsible for posting it.

Users may submit a valid counter-notification as permitted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of repeat copyright infringers.

13.4 User Content

Users retain ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content to the Service, you grant Isabelle’s Dance Time a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Service.

14. Child Safety Standards and Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Bucholtz Software, LLC, the developer of Isabelle’s Dance Time, has a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Any use of the Service to create, distribute, solicit, promote, or facilitate CSAE or related illegal activity is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension or termination. We may report suspected illegal activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities where required or appropriate.

14.1 Age Requirements

Isabelle’s Dance Time mobile application is intended solely for students and users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to create an account or use the Service. If we become aware that a user under the age of 13 has registered or provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to remove the account and delete the associated information as required by applicable law.

14.2 Student Safety

The safety and well-being of our students is a priority. We are committed to providing a safe environment for communication within the Service and responding promptly to reports of inappropriate behavior, harassment, abuse, or other safety concerns.

14.3 Communication with Faculty

Students may use the Faculty section of the Service to send direct messages to authorized teachers or staff members regarding:

Questions about classes or schedules
Safety concerns
Harassment or bullying
Inappropriate conduct
Technical issues affecting student safety
Any other concern requiring assistance

Faculty members are expected to respond appropriately and escalate concerns to studio management when necessary.

14.5 Our Response

Upon receiving a child safety or student welfare report, we may:

Restrict, suspend, or terminate user accounts that violate our policies.
Report illegal activity or credible threats to appropriate authorities where required by law.

14.6 Appropriate Use of Messaging

Direct messaging is provided solely to facilitate communication between students and peers (for collaboration, or specific class communications), students and authorized faculty members regarding dance instruction, scheduling, studio operations, and student support. Users are prohibited from using the messaging feature for harassment, abusive conduct, threats, solicitation, or any unlawful purpose.

Violations of these standards may result in suspension or permanent removal from the Service.

14.7 Privacy

Any personal information submitted as part of a safety report or complaint will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. Information will only be shared with individuals or authorities as reasonably necessary to investigate, resolve, or comply with legal obligations related to the reported concern.
